The only safer place is in mummy's tummy:
the MIA nursery
How does one create the perfect nursery? Experience. Our production designer is a mother herself and knows exactly what demands a baby's home must meet. MIA has been designed according to these essential requirements: lowest possible risk of injury, rounded edges, and stability. With Welle you are always on the safe side.
The same is true for our health and safety compatible materials. True to our promise Welle uses only high quality chipboard that complies with the Emission Class E1 and the woodchips it is made from are derived from certified sustainable rainforests. MIA has been awarded the "Blaue Engel" (Blue Angel) for exactly this reason. This certification awarded by the German Ministry for Environment is a valuable guideline when looking for health and environmentally conscious furniture, especially for your precious ones.
Materials and surfaces within reach of your little ones must adhere to the German "Sicherheit von Spielzeug" standard and therefore be sweat and saliva resistant.
All other materials found in the MIA range have been tested thoroughly. The glass shelf used in the MIA wardrobe is safety glass applying to German and European Standards. Furthermore the soft closing mechanism on the drawers and doors ensure no little fingers can get trapped, and they close so quietly so that no dream will ever be interrupted.
Exercising such close attention to detail from the very outset ensures quality through and through: MIA has not only received all important seals of approval relating to safety, but was also rated "Very Good" by the Öko-Test Magazine - the only one out of the 10 cots that were tested.
